Starting immediately, part time with 20 hours per week

Your responsibilities

Our 30-strong IT team is responsible for providing and refining state-of-the-art information technology for all Basler sites. As a member of the Mannheim-based team, you will ensure the provision and smooth operation of IT end devices and applications for the various workplaces within the context of 1st Level Support. You will gain a valuable insight into computer vision solutions and make a committed contribution within this area:
  • Play an active role within an international IT team
  • Among your principal tasks will be to offer first-level IT support relating to state-of-the-art Microsoft-based assets installed on DELL hardware. This will include:
  • Processing first-level tickets using our ticket tool
  • Forwarding to the second level after pre-qualification
  • You will be responsible for the installation (and general IMAC process) of workstations at the Mannheim site
  • Your tasks will include issuing and managing "small hardware" (e.g., cables)
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the operation of the meeting rooms

Your qualifications 

  • This position calls for good to very good IT client skills and a genuine passion for IT.
  • We are looking to attract someone who eats, sleeps, and breathes IT. No matter what question comes up, you will be happy to address the issue and ensure smooth IT operations.
  • Your profile will include a structured and well-organized way of working.
  • Finally, a very good command of German and a solid understanding of English are essential.
