Starting August 1, 2023

Basler is a leading international manufacturer of imaging components for computer vision applications such as cameras, lenses, frame grabbers, software as well as embedded vision solutions, customized products and consulting services. The products are used in a variety of computer vision markets, including factory automation, medical, traffic, logistics, retail, and robotics. Founded in 1988, the Basler Group employs approximately 800 people at its headquarters in Ahrensburg (near Hamburg) and other locations in Europe, Asia and North America.


 

Training program

  • You will get to know exciting challenges and solutions in the field of electronics. 
  • During your practical assignments, you will get to know various areas such as production, (training) workshop, logistics, IT or the repair center. 
  • During your training, you will develop into an expert for our products and their manufacture. 
  • The apprenticeship starts on August 1, 2023, lasts 3.5 years and the theoretical part takes place at the Emil-Possehl vocational school in Lübeck.

Your profile

  • You will have a good to very good secondary school diploma or MSA.
    Good grades in math and physics.
  • First contact with electronics is desirable. 
  • You have a steady hand for detailed manual work.
  • You enjoy analytical, mathematical-logical tasks and like to search for technical solutions.
  • Whether in project work, team sports or voluntary work - team spirit is important to you.  
  • Good German language skills round off your profile.
