From August 1, 2023

  • This is your chance to get to know the fascinating world of computer science and software development.
  • Having developed your skills, you will become a competent point of contact with regard to programming languages (e.g., Python or C/C++), software architecture, software technology, and much more.
  • As part of your practical assignments, you will get to know various areas of IT engineering: firmware, driver, embedded, API, and application development. 
  • You will apply agile working methods as a member of diversified software development teams in Ahrensburg and, if desired, at other sites operated by the company.
  • You will contribute to the development of software products and will help shape them: from the initial idea and engineering to commissioning and life cycle management.
  • The work/study program is scheduled to commence on August 1, 2023, and will cover a period of 7 semesters; lectures as part of the academic program will take place at Wedel University of Applied Sciences. 

Your profile

  • You will require a good to very good school-leaving certificate (equivalent to (Fach-) Abitur in Germany).
  • Very good to good grades in Mathematics, Physics, and/or Computer Science (if offered as a school subject) are essential.
  • Initial programming experience would be desirable, e.g., Python, C, C++, Java.
  • You will display a strong interest in computer science, electrical engineering, and digital technology.
  • For you, modern electronic devices are not just consumer goods, but complex systems consisting of hardware and software.
  • We are looking for someone who enjoys taking on complex analytical tasks and is keen to embrace agile working methods.
  • Whether in project work, sports, or voluntary activities – team spirit will be in your personal DNA.  
  • You will need a good command of German and English.
