The blaze Time-of-Flight camera offers precise 3D imaging in real time thanks to Sony’s DepthSense™ sensor technology and onboard depth image processing.

The Basler blaze industrial 3D camera operates on the pulsed Time-of-Flight principle. Its laser diodes work in the NIR range (940 nm), generating 2D and 3D data in one shot. This multipart image includes a 3D point cloud, intensity image, range map, and confidence map.

The Basler blaze offers VGA resolution, high precision and accuracy, plus powerful features at an attractive price. This makes it ideal for a wide range of 3D vision applications in logistics and factory automation.

Sony DepthSense™ Technology

Sensor board with Sony IMX556PLR Time-of-Flight sensor. Backside-illuminated (BSI) CMOS technology. High-speed modulation technology. Delivers 30 fps at full resolution, 640 px x 480 px. High accuracy and depth precision.

ToF-optimized lens

High light transmission. Narrow band-pass filter. Wide field of view (67° x 51°). Low stray light. Integrated in camera and calibrated ex works. Best performance for Time-of-Flight cameras.

High-Performance VCSELs

Multi-frequency 940 nm Class 1 VCSEL diodes. High modulation contrast. Robust against daylight. Invisible to humans. Eye-safe. Working range up to 10 m. For precise depth data also under changing lighting conditions.

IP67 Housing

Dust-tight and waterproof (< 1 m) aluminum housing. Shock and vibration proof (EN 60068 certified). High EMC immunity (DIN EN 61000-6-2 certified). Corrosion-proof. Gigabit Ethernet interface. Robust M12 connectors. Built for demanding industrial environments.

With pylon and the Supplementary Package for blaze you get all the necessary tools for easy integration and set-up of the blaze 3D camera.
