With the complete relocation of Silicon Software products to Basler, we can now offer our high-performance cameras and vision components from a single source with a very comprehensive portfolio of high-end frame grabbers, VisualApplets and accessories. Thus, customers benefit from an integrated service in the analysis, consulting and provision of the image processing solution for their individual requirements. Image preprocessing and evaluation of image data "on board" offer our customers significant cost reduction potential. The graphical FPGA development environment VisualApplets allows for shorter development times and faster time-to-market cycles.
Silicon Software is a specialist and technology leader in image acquisition and processing. In July 2018, Basler acquired 100% of Silicon Software GmbH to expand the strengths of both companies and offer customers a broader portfolio in a variety of computer vision applications. The implementation of the product range across all sales channels now marks the successful completion of the integration process. Although customers have already been able to find Silicon Software products on the Basler website, all products and additional information have now been fully integrated and the underlying processes defined. Orders are processed completely and directly via Basler. Sales and support are based at Basler AG, with previous Silicon Software contact people working closely with the Basler team.
