Basler blaze: Now with Dual Exposure HDR

Basler blaze: Now with Dual Exposure HDR

HDR Dual Exposure is the latest feature in Basler's blaze 3D time-of-flight camera. High Dynamic Range ensures precise and accurate detection of different objects or surfaces in a scene. In Dual Exposure Mode, two differently exposed images are superimposed: the image data from the short exposure time (100 µs) is merged with the data from the long exposure time (1000 µs). This allows close, bright objects and distant, dark objects to be imaged simultaneously. The result shows a precise 3D point cloud that correctly represents all object details regardless of distance and reflectance.

The HDR feature is part of the latest blaze firmware update and the release is available for download free of charge.
