Basler at automatica 2023
As the world’s leading trade show for smart automation and robotics, automatica combines all key technologies in this field. This trade show brings together industry, research and politics across all sectors for a constructive and groundbreaking exchange at the technology hub of Munich. With the slogan "Accelerate your Vision - Vision Solutions for Smart Factories", Basler will demonstrate why industrial image processing has already been a key pillar of automated production processes for a long time. At our booth, we will present our broad machine vision portfolio and underline our solution expertise in factory automation with hands-on demonstrations using vision-guided robotics.

Trade show highlights
For vision-guided robotics, Basler collaborates with well-known companies for robotics solutions and shows compatibility with many robot and gripper brands. At automatica, robots from KUKA, Universal Robot and FANUC as well as gripper systems from SCHMALZ and many other robotics brands will be on display both at our booth and at our partners' booths, working smoothly with Basler Vision.
Live demos at the Basler booth:
- Object recognition and identification with the Cobot LBR iisy from KUKA. The vision solution consists of both Basler hardware and software components. Not only 2D and 3D cameras are part of this demo, but also Basler pylon image processing, Basler lenses, Basler lighting and other accessories from the Basler portfolio.
- Object recognition, identification and measurement with a UR5 Cobot from Universal Robot in combination with Basler's UR caps compatibility. Not only 2D and 3D cameras are part of this demo, but also Basler pylon image processing, Basler lenses, Basler lighting and other accessories from the Basler portfolio.
