What was your career path at Basler?
I started in the Sales Back Office for the in-house sales department in November 2014. I really enjoyed this, but in the long run I wanted to spend more time with the customers. When a new segment was planned, I applied for a position there in Inside Sales, which worked out. It’s nice that in a direct exchange with my manager and the Sales Director, I can work on advancing my career towards field service, by helping colleagues or participating in a business trip to a customer.

Is there something you particularly appreciate about Sales at Basler?
I really like the job because you collaborate in many interfaces – from logistics to the customer. This makes it very diverse. Other factors are the very broad application areas, and the challenges and questions from the customers. Our cameras can be used in so many ways that you keep learning something new.

Why would you recommend Basler as an employer?
The collegial environment makes it easy. You like coming here and don’t have to force yourself to do anything. The tasks are interesting and pose new challenges every day. But you also get the corresponding support to master them.
