From August 1, 2023

Basler is a leading international manufacturer of imaging components for computer vision applications such as cameras, lenses, frame grabbers, software as well as embedded vision solutions, customized products and consulting services. The products are used in a variety of computer vision markets, including factory automation, medical, traffic, logistics, retail, and robotics. Training program

  • This is your chance to explore the wide range of exciting challenges and solutions associated with electronics. 
  • As part of your practical assignments, you will get to know various departments within the company, such as Production, the (Training) Workshop, Logistics, IT, or the Repair Center. 
  • The vocational training program is designed to advance your skills – making you an expert with regard to our products and their production. 
  • Training is scheduled to commence on August 1, 2023, and will cover a period of 3 1/2 years; the theoretical part will take place at Emil-Possehl-Berufsschule, Lübeck.

Your profile

  • You will require a good to very good school-leaving certificate (equivalent to Realschulabschluss/MSA in Germany).
  • Good grades in mathematics and physics are essential.
  • Initial experience in the field of electronics would be a decided advantage. 
  • You will need a steady hand when it comes to intricate manual work.
  • We are looking to attract candidates who enjoy performing analytical, mathematical-logical tasks and are keen to find technical solutions.
  • Whether in project work, sports, or voluntary activities – team spirit will be in your personal DNA.  
  • Finally, you will require solid German language skills.
