For this purpose, we are always looking for inquisitive and knowledgeable experts to work with us in developing software that not only recognizes images but also brings them to life.

Your responsibilities

  • You will lead a (development) team within the software unit in both a functional and disciplinary capacity. 
  • Your tasks will include supporting, coaching, and developing the team members. 
  • In addition, you can look forward to a close dialogue within the management team. 
  • You will design and develop agile (continuous software development) processes and work environments together with Project Management and will assume responsibility for drawing up the details of team-to-team collaboration. 
  • You will also take responsibility and ownership for the team's agreed deliverables and modules.
  • As Group Leader, you will continuously develop your team and work practices and ensure a best-in-class development environment for your team members.

Your qualifications 

  • You will have demonstrable experience in software development and a university degree in a relevant technical field or comparable vocational qualifications.
  • You will have initial professional leadership experience as a project, team, or group leader and will act as a committed leader, engaging with your team on an equal footing. You will also be passionate about motivating, developing, and managing an interdisciplinary team. 
  • Your credentials should include methodological expertise, passion, flexibility and drive, in addition to the ability to coordinate joint conceptual work with the respective experts and bring about well-judged decisions. You will see yourself as an active driver in software development and will take the initiative. "Just do it!" is a motto that you fully embrace. 
  • You should also be familiar with continuous integration, customer centricity, agile development, and requirements engineering.

  • In addition to being familiar with modular software product architecture, you will know how to get multiple teams to communicate in a meaningful way.

  • Last but not least your skills will include fluent German and good written and spoken English.
