The new and unique lighting concept is designed for Basler ace U and L cameras with the Basler SLP feature, a feature that significantly reduces the complexity of a vision system and allows any user to integrate the lighting early and easily.

High-quality and carefully selected lighting equipment supports you in the simple setup of a powerful vision system. Basler Lighting offers an easy lighting approach for industrial cameras, which greatly reduces the time and the costs regarding the implementation of light sources. The entire process, from the selection of the lights to the installation, is made simpler and shorter by the Basler SLP feature, a feature that enables direct communication between camera and light using a protocol developed by Basler. It allows easy synchronization between camera and lighting, gives non-expert users easy access to the popular strobing operation and simplifies the setup for vision applications.

Furthermore, it reduces the necessary components of a vision system to a minimum and enables control by only one single software package, the pylon Camera Software Suite. The flexible approach – Basler SLP Controller

A flexible way to add lighting to a vision system is to use the Basler SLP Controller. In this case, the lighting is controlled via a controller, which is physically connected to the camera and communicates via the SLP feature. With this setup, users are given the freedom to choose from a variety of standard light sources or use their own. The solution is suitable for users with lighting experience who have applications with specific lighting requirements.

The easy approach – Basler Camera Light Series

Another way for an integrated lighting solution is to use a Basler ace U or L camera with SLP feature and a Basler Camera Light with an integrated controller, where the light is controlled directly from the camera.
