Detect the position and orientation of flat objects on a flat surface
This optional module can be easily activated on any Basler Stereo Camera to determine the 3D position and orientation of any flat object in an unmixed scene on a flat surface. The specific scene is compared to a previously trained template.
Automatically and flexibly detects the base plane
Identifies flat objects and calculates their 3D positions
Defines grasping points on objects
Works with robot-mounted and static cameras
Does not require external hardware, as the data is processed onboard
Basler Randomdot Projector if point cloud is used for plane estimation
