Image processing reliably reads postal barcodes so that parcels can be stacked in parcel cages for further distribution. Using time-of-flight technology, the volume of the parcels can be reliably determined to ensure that the skeleton boxes are optimally filled.
When the blaze camera is combined with a color camera, the combined image also provides a record for quality assurance.

This information is contained in postal routing codes, which are included in barcodes and QR codes for digitally created shipping labels.
