The Basler a2A2840-150g10mUV 10GigE camera delivers a resolution of 8 MP at a frame rate of 150 fps. It features Sony's Pregius S backside-illuminated global shutter UV CMOS sensor, the IMX487, in monochrome with a 2/3" sensor format.
The UV industrial camera supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), RJ45 connectors, and data transfer via RDMA, and is GenICam-compatible. For example, it is best suited for wafer and solar cell inspection and plastic sorting applications that all require high bandwidths. The camera features a very compact design, low power consumption, and RDMA support. RDMA minimizes the load on the host computer’s CPU, freeing it up for image processing and analysis tasks.

More speed, less overhead
GigE Vision 3.0 makes image data transmission faster and more efficient. With the integration of the RoCEv2 (RDMA over Converged Ethernet Version 2) streaming protocol, image data is transferred via RDMA directly from the NIC to the RAM, without intermediate buffering in the camera or detours through the CPU. This significantly reduces processing load and creates more capacity for high data rates, low latencies, and scalable vision systems.
