The dart USB 3.0 board level camera comes in six new models that have it all. As one of the first in their class to be equipped with a Sony IMX548 BSI Pregius S sensor of the 4th generation, the small but powerful cameras master big tasks with the best image quality.

The new Basler dart board level cameras deliver outstanding image quality thanks to Sony's IMX548 CMOS sensor, a 4th-generation Pregius S sensor with global shutter. The six 5 MP USB 3.0 models are ideal for applications with challenging installation conditions and high demands on image quality. Applications in factory automation, robotics and medical & life sciences thus benefit from the cameras' high application convenience: small form factor, low weight and low power consumption.

The new dart cameras are available in monochrome and color versions and, in addition to the bare board variant, also with CS-mount and S-mount. With the pylon Camera Software Suite, you also have access to our market-leading software, including features such as PGI for in-camera image optimization.

Leading sensor technology from Sony

The combination of backside illumination (BSI) and global shutter in the 4th-generation Pregius S sensors also prevents motion artifacts in the IMX548 sensor when capturing moving objects at high speed. Even the smallest errors are detected as a result.

All in all, the new dart cameras shine with high precision at a greater data throughput. The small pixel and sensor size is ideal for the need for high-resolution cameras in compact vision systems.
