The Basler Light Flatdome-200x300IR provides uniform illumination and features a light-emitting surface of 200 mm x 300 mm with a centrally located camera opening. The LED color is infrared IR) with a peak wavelength of 850 nm. Via the M8 connector, the IP54-rated flat dome light can be used either as a standalone light source or—with a Basler Sync Cable—as a fully integrated, camera-controlled lighting.
When used with a Basler Sync Cable, the lighting can be controlled directly via the connected Basler camera without an external lighting controller. This reduces integration and cabling efforts as well as the complexity of the vision system.

- All control functions are GenICam-compliant, allowing them to be controlled via software, such as pylon. No separate software required.

The lighting can be operated without camera control, either in continuous mode or with triggered light. Optionally, direct current-controlled operation of the LEDs using an external controller is possible.
The flat dome lighting for industrial use provides uniform illumination with minimal shadows. It is suitable for inspecting objects with low-reflectivity surfaces, such as those found in robotics or logistics applications.
