The Basler Light Bar-45x100-1450 produces an elongated light strip and has a light-emitting surface of 45 mm x 100 mm. The LED color is in the short-wave infrared (SWIR) spectral range, with a peak wavelength of 1,450 nm. Via the M8 connector, the IP54-rated light bar can be used either as a standalone light source or—with a Basler Sync Cable—as fully integrated, camera-controlled lighting.
When used with a Basler Sync Cable, the lighting can be controlled directly via the connected Basler camera without an external lighting controller. This reduces integration and cabling efforts as well as the complexity of the vision system.

The lighting can be operated without camera control, either in continuous mode or with triggered light. Optionally, direct current-controlled operation of the LEDs using an external controller is possible.
The SWIR bar light for industrial use enables the differentiation of various materials, the analysis of moisture content, and the transmission imaging of silicon and many plastics. It is well-suited for demanding inspection and quality control tasks.
