The Basler 10GBASE-T Copper-to-SFP+ module connects 10GigE industrial cameras with RJ45 connectors directly to SFP+ interface cards. This allows existing copper installations with Cat 6a cables to be used without modification, while the host side retains the flexibility of the SFP+ slot.
The hot-pluggable module supports 10GBASE-T, 5GBASE-T, 2.5GBASE-T, and 1000BASE-T with automatic rate negotiation, making it suitable for 1GigE, 2.5GigE, 5GigE, and 10GigE cameras on a single port. Auto-crossover detection, low power consumption, and an operating temperature range of 0 °C to +65 °C ensure reliable operation in industrial environments.
