Board of Directors

Hardy Mehl has been a member of the Management Board of Basler AG since January 2014 and took over the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on January 1, 2026. He leads the worldwide sales organization and the departments Operations, Investor Relations, and Human Resources. Hardy Mehl joined Basler AG in 1999 and held various management positions in the company before his appointment to the Management Board. He was responsible for product management, business development and a new business unit. Before Hardy Mehl joined Basler AG, he worked in the petrochemical and minerals industries. He has a commercial professional background with a university degree in commercial studies and an Executive MBA from ESMT.

Ines Brückel has been a member of the management board of Basler AG since January 2025. She is responsible for finance, legal, IT/SAP and administration. Before joining Basler AG, Ines Brückel worked for the auditing company KPMG and held leading positions in the finance departments of large international technology companies. She holds a degree in business administration with a focus on finance, investments and marketing and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Ines has also completed an executive program at Infineon Technologies AG.

Dr. Kai Jens Ströder has been a member of the Management Board of Basler AG since January 2026. He is responsible for Product Generation and Innovation.

Dr. Kai Jens Ströder began his professional career in 2009 at Carl Zeiss AG, where he held various management positions until 2017. In 2018, he took on the position of Chief Executive Officer at tooz technologies GmbH - a deep tech start-up joint venture between Deutsche Telekom AG and Carl Zeiss AG before moving to Basler AG.

Dr. Kai Jens Ströder holds a degree in business administration from the University of Stuttgart and received his doctorate from the Institute for Planning and Strategic Management, also at the University of Stuttgart.
