pypylon
Basler's pylon Software Suite Interface for Python
Why use pypylon?
Python is a dynamic, object-oriented, versatile programming language that enables developers to quickly understand, learn, and begin using it. The syntax in Python allows programming in fewer steps than in Java, VB, C, C ++, or C #. Python's extensive database of open-source image processing libraries (e.g., Open CV), data analysis tools, web frameworks, and testing tools makes its ecosystem one of the largest of any known programming community.
pypylon is a wrapper interface for the powerful Basler pylon Software Suite that enables both new and experienced Python programmers to quickly and easily develop prototype applications. This allows them to test Basler cameras without having to set up complex development environments. This can significantly speed up the camera evaluation process, increase programmer productivity, and reduce overall project costs.
