Basler Video Recording Software
The Basler Video Recording Software offers easy installation and a user-friendly interface. Taking single images and recording videos as well as image or video time-lapse sequences becomes very simple and intuitive. The recording software even offers camera control features, to enhance image quality, set up different options for recording and use hardware trigger signals. Each Basler PowerPack for Microscopy comes with this software and all Basler USB 3.0 cameras can be connected.
Comprehensive software features:
Videos in modern MPEG-4 format
Capturing of high-speed recordings for slow-motion analysis
Capturing image and video sequences for time-lapse analysis
Image capturing with hardware trigger signal
Easiest installation and usability
Easy installation supported by operating systems Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 – 32 bit and 64 bit
Self-explanatory software design for ease of use
High-speed video recording
In combination with the high framerates of Basler cameras, the Basler Video Recording Software enables you to capture slow motion videos. Such recordings are useful for motion analysis where fast-moving objects need to be investigated. This is particularly needed in applications like material analysis, microscopic sperm analysis or monitoring cell transportation processes, as well as for quality inspection and material science.
Time-lapse video or image capturing
The Basler Video Recording Software offers time-lapse video and image capturing, which are particularly useful for microscopy. You can take uncompressed image sequences for further analysis and processing. In addition, you can record time-lapse videos, such as for monitoring processes and changes in microscope samples, in material science or for process documentation in industrial applications. The time interval for both images and video can be set to your individual needs. Also, the start and end of the capturing can be set to stop the recording automatically.
Hardware trigger signals
When using a Basler ace camera, the Basler Video Recording Software can take images or videos even through hardware trigger signals. For that, an external trigger cable must be connected to the I/O port of the camera. For a complete video capture the camera has to be triggered continuously. This feature comes in handy in many use cases and can, as an example, support hands-free documentation during material inspection when a signal is given by pressing a foot pedal.
