The smart blaze-101s is based on the proven Time-of-Flight technology of the blaze-101 and provides 3D data with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels at up to 30 frames per second. Its 940 nm illumination and 67° x 51° field of view make it best suited for indoor applications and outdoor applications with daylight exposure. The 3D camera is ideal for applications in logistics, warehousing, robotics, and factory automation.
In addition, the smart blaze-101s features an integrated quad-core Arm64 computing platform with 8 GB RAM and 32 GB eMMC storage. Customer-specific software can run directly on the camera in the available Linux User Space, allowing 3D data to be processed close to the sensor.
Local processing can reduce the processing load on higher-level systems and the amount of data that needs to be transferred. It can also shorten response times and simplify the overall system architecture. In suitable applications, the smart blaze-101s can eliminate the need for a separate host PC dedicated to 3D data processing.
