The Basler a2A2448-232g10m 10GigE camera delivers a resolution of 5 MP at a frame rate of 232 fps. It features Sony's Pregius S backside-illuminated global shutter CMOS sensor, the IMX537, in monochrome with a 1/1.8" sensor format.
The industrial camera supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), RJ45 connectors, and data transfer via RDMA, and is GenICam-compatible. For example, it is best suited for wafer and PCB inspection applications that require high bandwidths. The camera features a very compact design, low power consumption, and RDMA support. RDMA minimizes the load on the host computer’s CPU, freeing it up for image processing and analysis tasks.
