Norbert Basler
Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Norbert Basler was born in Berlin on June 19, 1963. From 1983 to 1988, he studied mechanical engineering at the Clausthal Technical University majoring in electrical information technology. During his college years, Norbert Basler, together with one of his classmates, founded the Basler and Berendsen GmbH in the Lübeck technology center, which is today the Basler AG. In spring 2000 Norbert Basler left the Management Board and was elected to the Supervisory Board. He was appointed as chairman in 2003.

Dr. Dietmar Ley
Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Dr. Dietmar Ley studied electrical engineering at the University of Siegen and subsequently worked for companies such as Philips, Siemens, and Alcatel in the field of software and hardware development. Between 1989 and 1992, he earned his doctorate in computer vision and 3D laser measurement technology at the Center for Sensor Systems at the University of Siegen.
In 1993, Dr. Ley began his career at Basler AG as a project manager. After engaging in activities as technical director and technical managing director, he was appointed CEO of the company in 2000. He held this position until his departure from the management board at the end of 2025.
Dietmar Ley engaged in volunteer activity for more than 20 years with the German Engineering Federation (VDMA), where he was a long-standing member of the management boards of the VDMA Robotics + Automation Association and its Machine Vision Division. Since early 2026, he has served as deputy chairman of the management Board in the VDMA’s Security & Defense Forum. Furthermore, between 2018 and 2021, Dietmar Ley was a member of the University Council of the University of Applied Sciences (HAW) in Hamburg.
At the 2026 annual general meeting, Dr. Dietmar Ley was elected to the supervisory Board of Basler AG, where he serves as deputy chairman of the supervisory Board.

WP, StB, Prof. Dr. Mirja Steinkamp
Member of the Supervisory Board
Mirja Steinkamp is a member of various supervisory boards, an auditor and a tax consultant. After several years as an audit manager with the international auditing firm Ernst & Young GmbH, she worked for 14 years as an authorized signatory and manager in a global trading company, where she was responsible for group accounting, financial reporting and the introduction/development of management reporting systems (consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS; IT and data security). Today, Mirja Steinkamp works full-time as a supervisory board member and is currently a member of the supervisory boards of Hochtief AG (M-Dax), Basler AG (Prime Standard), SüssMicroTec SE (S-Dax) and BarthHaas GmbH & Co. KG and thus has many years of experience as chairwoman of the audit committee in listed companies, as a member of the nomination and ESG committees and as deputy chairwoman of the supervisory board in non-listed companies.
Today, she shares her knowledge of auditing and corporate governance as a professor at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and in the course "The Qualified Supervisory Board". Mirja Steinkamp has been appointed to the board of examiners for auditors and is taking the exam for auditors in the field of "Applied Business Administration, Economics". Mirja Steinkamp has been a Qualified Supervisory Board Member and Financial Expert since 2018 and since 2023 also certified expert supervisory board for sustianability according to ESG and CSR.
In 2017, Prof. Dr. Mirja Steinkamp was elected to the supervisory board of Basler AG.

Lennart Schulenburg
Member of the Supervisory Board
Lennart Schulenburg, born in 1989, completed his computer science studies in 2014 with a focus on image processing. From 2018 to 2020 he completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at ESMT in Berlin. During his studies he worked as a freelancer in sports marketing and part-time as a software developer. After his studies, he joined the family business VisiConsult X-ray Systems & Solutions GmbH, where he has been the managing director since August 2020, starting as sales manager “Global”, through sales and marketing management and as commercial manager.
In 2022, Lennart Schulenburg was elected to the supervisory board of Basler AG.

Tanja Schley
Member of the Supervisory Board
Tanja Schley, born in 1983, completed a degree in business administration (BA) from the Leibniz Academy in Hanover in 2005 and a degree in business administration (FH) from the private University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Technology in Vechta/Diepholz/Oldenburg in 2007.
Since 2008, she has been working for Basler AG as group leader R&D - Mechanics as well as for the strategic project purchasing of the Basler branch in Ahrensburg. Prior to her current position, Tanja Schley worked in various areas of the company, such as strategic purchasing, supplier quality manager, and team leader in production project engineering.
2023 Tanja Schley was elected by the Basler employees as employee representative on the supervisory board of Basler AG.

Dr. Holger Singpiel
Member of the Supervisory Board
Holger Singpiel, born in 1969, studied physics with a minor in business informatics at the University of Heidelberg. In 2000, he received his doctorate in natural sciences from the University of Heidelberg in cooperation with the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva.
In 2001, he founded Acconovis GmbH in Mannheim with two co-partners and was managing director until 2006.
In 2007, he moved to Silicon Software GmbH in Mannheim, where he rebuilt the product management division in 2008 and was responsible for VisualApplets and the frame grabber portfolio as product manager until 2015. He also represented Silicon Software in the Camera Link, Camera Link HS, GigE Vision, and CoaXPress standardization committees. In 2016, he took over responsibility for global procurement and held this position at Silicon Software GmbH until 2019.
After Basler AG acquired Silicon Software GmbH, he took on the role of commercial director.
Since the merger of Silicon Software with Basler in 2020, Holger Singpiel has been both the site manager of Basler Mannheim and the head of the Business Management department.
At the end of 2025, Holger Singpiel was appointed to the Supervisory Board of Basler AG as an employee representative following the departure of Alexander Jürn.
