Basler Advanced Camera Connectivity System
Connect machine vision cameras without additional IPC/PC
The Basler Advanced Camera Connectivity System enables a direct connection between the machine vision camera and the application - similar to an IP camera. It replaces the separate IPC/PC for connecting a machine vision camera and adapts flexibly to a wide range of application scenarios.

Maximum flexibility
High variance in set-up thanks to large selection of industrial cameras and opticsCost and space savings
No need for additional IPCs or PCsSimple integration and scalability
Simple retrofitting of existing systems thanks to cloud connection, no need for an additional IPCSeamless system compatibility
Conversion of machine vision data into common image formats, enabling immediate further processing
Application scenarios
The Basler Advanced Camera Connectivity System is suitable for a wide range of applications and can be flexibly integrated into existing and new systems. The browser-based control enables simple configuration.
Use as an IP camera
The Basler Advanced Camera Connectivity System supports surveillance scenarios with reliable image and video transmission in real time. It enables seamless integration into access control systems, ensuring precise capture and display of image and video data.
AI-supported visual inspections
We connect the Basler Advanced Camera Connectivity System with your company cloud to efficiently implement AI-based visual inspections. The image data is captured by machine vision cameras that are connected to the system. Processing takes place in the cloud, where powerful algorithms analyze the images. The results appear in real time - clear and directly usable.
Application as an industrial dashcam with temporary image memory
The Basler Advanced Camera Connectivity System continuously stores images temporarily. In response to an alarm signal from the control system, the specific image with the source of the fault is "frozen". This makes it possible to immediately and specifically trace what exactly happened at which point. Efficient process monitoring and error analysis in real time improves the ability to react in the production process."
Features & benefits: everything in one box

The Advanced Camera Connectivity System is a compact box. It captures and transmits image and sensor data in real time. This allows the system to communicate quickly and securely with other systems or a cloud.
The features include:
Camera interface: 2 x GMSL ports
Application interface: 1 Gig Ethernet and PoE.
Power supply: PoE or 12/24V external supply
Video encoding capabilities: H.264/H.265 4K30
Advanced AI capabilities: supports intelligent functions, such as person pixelation
Fast and intuitive control of machine vision cameras
The Basler Advanced Camera Connectivity System enables industrial cameras to be easily integrated into existing systems and intuitively controlled. It ensures rapid execution of Docker containers that implement the various communication protocols. Real-time data processing allows users to access their applications faster - be it cameras and video encoders or Flash or Ethernet. The Advanced Camera Connectivity System offers many decisive advantages:
Maximum flexibility in the selection of industrial cameras and optics
Cost and space savings: no need for additional IPCs or PCs
Simple integration: uncomplicated retrofitting of existing machines
Flexible scalability: one system unit with two cameras each (with GMSL interface)
Cloud connection: enables e.g. optimized data analysis
