Stronger 3D Performance with Time-of-Flight (ToF) Technology
The trend towards 3D solutions in the image processing market is constantly growing. In the coming years, 3D image processing in industrial applications will become increasingly significant particularly due to the trend towards Industry 4.0 and the growth of automation. Depending on the application requirements, different 3D technologies come into play. Time-of-Flight cameras are perfectly suited for real-time applications that require precise measurements at a large working distance. Without moving components, compact ToF cameras simplify the application complexity and allow low overall system costs.
Martin Gramatke, Product Manager 3D Business, and Sanna Leinius, Product Market Manager 3D Business at Basler, will concentrate on the pulsed Time-of-Flight method. They will cover the following main points:
- Working principle
- Influencing factors
- Comparison to other 3D technologies
- Integration into your vision system
- Target applications
- Live demo
The webinar also features a question and answer session at the end.
