Based at our Krakow site in Poland, you will become part of a small but fast-growing development team creating innovative image processing software. We are located in the center of Krakow in a modern coworking office space – High5ive.

Your responsibilities

As a Software Product Manager at Basler, you will become part of our international Software Product Management team that strongly collaborates with Software Developers from the R&D team as well as our customers. This role will report directly to our Head of Software Product Management at Basler AG, located in Ahrensburg.

  • You get connected with Basler’s customers and translate their requests into development requirements (Requirements Engineering) 
  • You have an overview about your active managed backlogs and fit in new requirements (Requirements Management)
  • You are the face to the (internal) customer for all AI related product features
  • You develop the roadmap of the AI product and share it with the team and stakeholders
  • You become part of a team which is fully responsible for the whole customer journey within the product 
  • Do you think a product extension is the future? Proof it with investment calculations and bring it in
  • How does the future of AI in vision look like? You can develop it with your insights and thoughts and start a new product from scratch
  • You are responsible for stakeholder management and you have to synchronize with other business units about requirements
  • You are responsible that the releases are in time and budget 

Your qualifications 

  • You hold a Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in a IT related course of study 
  • You bring practical knowledge with ecosystems and AI and have multiple years of previous experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner with outstanding skills and ability to take full responsibility for a product
  • Basic knowledge of image vision is desirable
  • You are willing to travel to German HQ (once a month during onboarding phase, less often after onboarding) and also to subsidiaries (e.g. US or Japan) up to 20%
  • You are fluent in English and Polish, German is not necessary, but a plus 
  • You have very good analytical skills, initiative and problem solving skills and are able to prepare and communicate complex issues in a structured manner 
  • You consider yourself a 100% Teamplayer and bring strong communication skills
  • You have a hands on mentality and enjoy shaping the AI vision future as part of a small team
