Lens and lighting control

Discover a vision system that lets you control the lens andlighting directly through the camera. The entire configuration is handled within a single SDK, such as pylon. You’ll benefit from minimal hardware and software requirements as well as exceptionally easy integration.

Motorized lenses

Motorized lenses, also known as motorized zoom lenses, offer automatic adjustment of focus, zoom, and iris. Built-in motors adjust the optical components, allowing all parameters to be controlledelectronically without manual intervention.

  • For sensor sizes up to 1.1"

  • For resolutions up to 20 MP

  • Available with a fixed or variable focal length

  • Can be controlled directly via the Basler camera in pylon

  • Ideal for applications with defined focus positions, variable image cropping, and automated parameter adjustment

Optotune's controllable liquid lens

Liquid lenses

Liquid lenses electronically adjust their refractive power by deforming an optical fluid. Focusing occurs directly within the lens and does not require any moving mechanical components. This enables faster, more precise focus changes.

  • For sensor sizes up to 1.1"

  • With focal lengths ranging from 12 mm to 50 mm

  • With aperture settings ranging from F3.1 to F5.4

  • Can be controlled directly via the Basler camera in pylon

  • Ideal for applications with varying working distances, high dynamics, and short cycle times
