Progress in Cell Biology Research with Basler ace USB 3.0 Cameras and the Basler pylon Camera Software Suite

Microscopy is an important component of cell biology research. It lets researchers have a detailed view of even the smallest cells. In order to be able to digitally process and archive the images that are created using the microscopy, you need high-quality cameras and suitable software. German company Dartsch Scientific, an institution for test systems for cell biology, uses two Basler ace USB 3.0 cameras and the Basler pylon Camera Software Suite for this task.

The Basler cameras have two missions: one of the two cameras is used as a highly effective tool for capturing rapid cell movements. The other camera makes a constant recording of the cell behavior. With the aid of the pylon Viewer, the desired images can then be extracted for further processing.
