Conquer New Galaxies – High Bandwidths with CoaXPress 2.0
High bandwidth, state-of-the-art CMOS sensors, simple integration, camera and frame grabber technology from one source, with an unmatched cost-benefit ratio – all this is offered by the new Basler boost CXP-12 camera series. You get exactly what you need for your sophisticated image processing systems, whether it’s high resolutions, high frame rates or cable lengths to bridge large distances.
What is CoaXPress 2.0?
CoaXPress 2.0 is the new standard in industrial image processing for demanding applications. The CXP-12 interface is particularly relevant whenever high data rates and short latency periods are called for.
The CoaXPress standard was officially released in 2011. Since then, the standard has established itself in industrial image processing. This standard was upgraded to version 2.0 during 2018 and released in June 2019. The new standard CoaXPress 2.0 implements many innovative features that offer new benefits to CXP users.
Among other things, the CoaXPress 2.0 standard enables a transmission speed of up to 12.5 Gbps with a single cable. Cameras with the CXP 2.0 interface are thus particularly suitable for applications requiring high resolutions or high frame rates.
Conquer New Galaxies. Galactic performance. Down-to-earth pricing.
We got a glimpse of the future. It’s high-resolution, lightning-fast and easy to integrate. For the boost CXP-12 camera series, Basler combines the CoaXPress 2.0 standard and its galactically high bandwidth with a new world in CMOS sensor performance. This is how we simplify complex image processing systems with an unbeatable cost-benefit ratio. High speed, high resolution and simple cabling are just a few of the advantages offered by combining this new standard with state-of-the-art CMOS sensor technology.
The CoaXPress 2.0 standard also offers another cost benefit: All you need is a single cable for data transmissions, camera control, triggering and the power supply to reduce your accessory costs and the complexity of your image processing system.
