Technoserv and Basler aviator Cameras Taking Care of Safety in Public Places
Basler aviator cameras are an important component of a biometric control system that ensures safe passage at Moscow’s largest train station. More than 1,500 people pass through this station – per hour!
As part of the state transport safety program, Russian company Technoserv has developed and implemented a biometric control system of passengers in the largest railway station in Moscow. This system performs biometric identification of all visitors of this station. In order to achieve this without decreasing the throughput of the station, more than 50 cameras have to perform facial identification in less than one second from huge arrays of databases, with a probability of correct recognition of up to 94%. The camera is a crucial component in this system and needs to be fast and reliable, so Technoserv chose for the Basler aviator camera.
