Basler ace GigE Cameras are the Eyes of TEAC Multi-functional Data Recorder
Japanese company TEAC developed a multi-functional data recorder which uses Basler ace GigE cameras as its “eyes”. Human memories tend to fade over time, so that it becomes difficult to report observations or experiences after some hours or days have passed. To compensate for this difficulty and to enable the storage of data on many channels at the same time, TEAC is devoting its expertise to developing a multi-function data recorder to record, store and retrieve the information which is an indispensable ingredient for intellectual activity and analysis. Major challenges in this competitive market are increased price sensitivity and high expectations on functionality. The demand for additional functionality, such as recording video independently of the conventional analog technologies which can correspond with temperature, vibration and GPS has clearly grown over time.
