embedded world 2018: Basler Presents a New Camera Concept for Embedded Vision

Basler AG from Ahrensburg, the globally leading manufacturer of industrial digital cameras, is expanding its presence in the embedded vision field and will present a completely innovative product concept at embedded world in Nuremberg from February 27 to March 1, 2018. This flexible concept offers the cost efficiency required for the consumer market and meets high-end technological standards.

“Our customers’ needs in the embedded vision area are directly incorporated into our product road map and have significantly influenced the development of the new camera modules,” said Gerrit Fischer, Head of Product Market Management at Basler. “With our new concept, we want to give our customers the highest flexibility and offer them exactly the camera module that meets their project and market requirements.”

At embedded world, Basler will also introduce partner products, reference designs and development kits that demonstrate the compatibility of Basler cameras with various SoMs/SoCs and different processor architectures. These products and kits were created in cooperation with various companies in the Basler Partner Network. The Partner Network is an essential part of the Basler Ecosystem and supports customers in their process from the product idea to the definitive solution.

Basler’s presence at embedded world is rounded off by numerous presentations at the tradeshow’s Exhibitors’ Forum and as part of the embedded world Conference.
