At the SPIE Photonics West 2018, Basler will showcase the newest high-performance ace cameras with Sony STARVIS and Sony Pregius sensors, give a talk about the technology behind them, and also present a live embedded vision demo with dart BCON for LVDS.
Photonics West, one of the leading photonics exhibitions in the world, will take place in San Francisco, California, January 30 – February 1.
Our show highlights are:
Basler ace U with the innovative back-illuminated Sony STARVIS sensors (IMX178, IMX226), a perfect choice for low-light applications
Basler ace L with the global-shutter high-speed Sony Pregius sensors (IMX253, IMX255, IMX267, IMX304), great fit for highly demanding applications
Basler dart BCON for LVDS, with a development kit from our partner Critical Link and our user-friendly pylon SDK
Basler's Application Engineer, Sean Pologruto, will give a live presentation on the technology behind the newest Sony STARVIS and Pregius sensors on the first day of the exhibition, January 30, at 4 pm in the Demo Area 2 (Hall D North).
Working with an industry partner, Critical Link, Basler will be running an embedded vision live demo featuring Basler dart BCON for LVDS, the board level camera module, the Embedded Vision Kits, and the pylon Camera Software Suite.
In addition, Basler Lenses with 1/2.5" and 2/3" image circles and the 1" C-mount lens series are displayed together with the corresponding cameras.
