New USB 3.0 Hybrid Cable with a Length of 10 m: Essential for a Stable Vision System
We extended our successful USB 3.0 cable portfolio (USB 3.0 is also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1) to include an active version for a transmission length of 10 m with a USB 3.0 hybrid cable.
The data cable with data transmissions via fiber optic lines and power supply through a thin copper core makes it possible to transfer data and supply power over 10 m with just a single product.
Benefits at a glance:
- Convenient single-cable solution: No other components are needed for the power supply. The cable offers an alternative to the existing 10 m and 20 m USB 3.0 extension cables. Compared to traditional extension cables, use of the hybrid cable does not require any additional passive USB 3.0 cable, nor an additional power supply.
- Reliable data transmissions and power supply for cameras approved for this use.
- EMC reliability: Their lack of sensitivity to electromagnetic disturbances makes fiber optic cables so distinctive. This means that the USB 3.0 hybrid cable is also a good choice for use in a rough industrial environment.
