Cameras for Laboratory Equipment and Automation

Cameras in automated solutions for scientific or medical and diagnostic laboratory applications deliver high performance. High speed and resolution, reliability and the best image quality enable reproducible analysis and high sample throughput. These are precisely the features offered by Basler cameras, allowing very flexible use and easy integration into your automation solution. This supports the development and optimization of new technologies for laboratory automation.

Process Automation & Quality Control

Process Automation & Quality Control

The automation of laboratory processes is relevant in chemistry, biological, pharmaceutical and food technology, but also in medicine. The objective is to improve processes, generate more results in less time, avoid errors, document analyses and experiments in a traceable manner and to reduce costs at the same time. Basler cameras support tasks such as sample identification and sorting (e.g. barcode recognition, color and pattern recognition) or process and quality control (e.g. sample management, control of analytical reactions).

Bio-Imaging

Bio-imaging creates images of human structures and functions: from anatomical regions and tissues to cells and molecules. Both in biomedical research (e.g. cancer research) and in routine diagnostics (e.g. histopathology), many samples are examined and assessed in a short time. Digital slide scanning enables full automation of the workflow and thus increases quality and efficiency. Basler’s sensitive cameras allow fast acquisition of high-resolution images with perfect color fidelity with short exposure times for maximum sample protection.
