In order to use the Basler Add-on Camera Kit with the NXP i.MX 8M Plus Evaluation Board and using the pylon Software Suite, the appropriate image is required.
The Basler Camera Enablement Package (CEP), together with the i.MX 8M Plus BSP (Board Support Package) from NXP, allows you to create Yocto images with Basler MIPI Camera Support. The CEP is a compressed file and contains a readme.txt document and two yocto Basler meta layers for compilation.
This allows you to use a Basler dart BCON for MIPI camera module with an NXP i.MX 8M Plus Evaluation Board via pylon.
The connection to Basler's pylon Software Suite is an extension to the camera driver embedded in the BSP and provides a development environment with a selection of C and C++ pylon code examples.
