Hefel Technik Uses Basler ace with PYTHON Sensor for High-speed Process Tracking with X.Lite ProCap

Hefel Technik – a specialist in automation technology in the areas of pneumatics, drive technology and image processing, with headquarters in Dornbirn, Austria – uses Basler ace cameras with PYTHON sensors by onsemi in its X.Lite ProCap system for high-speed process tracking and optical quality control.

The system is based on a proprietary development by Hefel Technik; it was continuously refined in close coordination with its users and is utilized in automation facilities, batch production, process analysis and in labs. With the help of the Basler ace USB 3.0 camera with the modern PYTHON 300 sensor, the system can fully benefit from the advantages of the new CMOS technology and record up to 3,000 images per second. The current version 4.0 offers many new features, such as simplified software handling, an optimized storage process and a new recording mode for SSD hard drives.

In addition to using the ace USB 3.0 cameras, Hefel Technik relies on Basler ace GigE cameras with PYTHON 1300 sensors for its optical quality control. Basler’s sales partner RAUSCHER GmbH advised and supported the company during the selection of its cameras.
