Comparison of Basler BCON for LVDS interface and Camera Link interface

Basler offers both Camera Link and board level cameras with BCON for LVDS, Basler's interface for embedded vision applications.

This document compares the two interfaces. They are notably similar in terms of data transmission and protocol, as BCON for LVDS has inherited many properties of the Camera Link interface and is in many ways Camera Link's 'little brother'. Even so, the BCON interface also has other features of interest, especially if the interface is being used for embedded vision applications.
