Basler with Successful Performance at HANNOVER MESSE
The automated and networked industry was the central topic at HANNOVER MESSE. With our range of services for industry 4.0, we hit the nerve of the trade public at the world's largest industry show.
"Traditional factory automation is moving in a new direction, where component interconnectivity, information digitization, and automated real-time decisions are becoming more important," says René von Fintel, Head of Product Management, addressing the challenges of Industry 4.0. In response to these challenges, we presented the latest technologies at HANNOVER MESSE, as well as proven approaches that help customers use image processing in their project.
With an embedded vision demonstration in the field of artificial intelligence, we were able to show the trade fair audience how compact and powerful vision systems can be. The VisualApplets product line of Silicon Software, which is part of the Basler Group, presented a graphical hardware development interface for FPGAs, with which Deep Learning applications, e.g. on a frame grabber, can be realized without elaborate programming. The successful trade fair appearance was rounded off by the arcade game "FaceTwist", which challenged the visitors of the trade show mimically and presented the possibilities of face recognition playfully.
