Immediate start date – Full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time contract (min. 35 hours/week)

Your responsibilities

  • In this role, you will be responsible for translating the demand plan into a supply plan, thereby ensuring the targeted procurement of materials and the best-possible alignment of production capacity. 
  • You will take ownership of the task of drawing up, coordinating, and executing the long-term (18 months) supply plan. In this context, the job holder will have to take into account material-specific supplies and production capacity at the sites in Ahrensburg and Singapore.
  • You will develop (complex) scenarios that provide the basis for decision-making activities at executive management level.  
  • You will be responsible for the IBP system and will help shape the ongoing streamlining of processes.  
  • You will plan S&OP meetings and present the results. In this context, you can look forward to hosting international meetings through to the decision-making stage.  
  • Last but not least, you will be responsible for monitoring the transfer roadmap and assisting the production managers in their decision as to where to manufacture which products. 

Your qualifications

  • The successful candidate is likely to have studied Business Administration or Economics or have comparable vocational qualifications. 
  • This will be complemented by at least two years' professional experience in the field of business planning, preferably with experience relating to production. 
  • You will be familiar with S&OP processes and will already have drawn up corresponding forecasts. 
  • This role calls for a high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office (with well-developed skills in Excel), preferably underpinned by knowledge of SAP. 
  • You will have a very good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
  • We are looking to attract a tech-savvy individual with a high standard of numeracy.   
  • You will have to be proactive and communicative, with the confidence needed to engage with colleagues in interfacing departments, address key issues, and work independently. 
  • Finally, you will be able to find the right balance between perfection and not being a stickler for detail on some occasions.
