Starting immediately, Full-time position

Basler is a leading international manufacturer of imaging components for computer vision applications such as cameras, lenses, frame grabbers, software as well as embedded vision solutions, customized products and consulting services. The products are used in a variety of computer vision markets, including factory automation, medical, traffic, logistics, retail, and robotics. This position is based in our US operation located in Exton, PA.  Basler, Inc. is a sales and support organization serving customers in North and South America.

Your responsibilities

The Sales Administrator performs various Sales back Office and Accounting functions. This candidate can expect to spend approximately 80 percent of their time performing back office functions and approximately 20 percent of their time assisting the Accounting department.

 Sales Back Office
  • Invoicing
    • Generating customer  invoices, adding freight charges, mailing/emailing to customer
    • Maintaining customer master records in SAP databases
    • Maintaining the camera evaluation/loaner list as orders ship
  • Credit card final payment processing
  • Set up and maintain customer specific portals
  • Updating and maintaining contract database
  • Participate in transaction review and approval processes (SAP 4-Eye review procedure)
  • Perform general office and reception duties
  • Act as a back up to the Sales Coordinator and RMA Coordinator (may include some data entry)
  • Accounts Receivable/Credit Management
    • Post, scan/file, and deposit incoming customer payments
    • Bank trips for deposits as needed
    • Collections (past due balances)
  • Accounts Payable
    • Reconcile and post Federal Express invoices
  • Miscellaneous Accounting
    • Year-end audit assistance
    • Various projects and tasks as needed
  • Assist with the management of off-site storage unit

Your qualifications 

  • SAP knowledge is preferred but not required
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) is required
  • Some experience in bookkeeping is preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to use logical thinking to problem solve and troubleshoot
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness with strong ability to prioritize workload
