Starting immediately, Full-time with 40 hours peer week

Your responsibilities

  • As Product Manager, you will translate challenging customer requirements into technical parameters as a basis for new product ideas and business cases.
  • You will analyze and evaluate the latest technology trends and use this knowledge to evolve your line of cameras from a strategic perspective.
  • In this role, keeping an eye on the market and the competition in collaboration with the department responsible for competitive analysis will be essential.
  • In close coordination with Development and Sales, you will prioritize the various ideas and assist in creating an effective roadmap for new products.
  • In addition, your tasks will include commissioning the Development team and ensuring that implementation along the development chain always meets customer and market requirements. 
  • You will also be responsible for establishing market-focused price structures for newly launched products. 
  • Furthermore, you will oversee product positioning and support downstream product rollout.
  • Your travel activities will account for approx. 20% of your working hours.

Your qualifications

  • You will have gained several years of professional experience in product management, ideally in the vision industry. 
  • This will be underpinned by a degree in Combined Business Administration & Engineering, Business Informatics, or similar. 
  • The ability to identify new trends in the context of corporate strategy is essential when it comes to developing product ideas.
  • This position requires someone who is on the ball, which is why you will have to be committed to maintaining and expanding your well-developed network of internal and external contacts. 
  • This will involve the strong desire to find the perfect solution, without losing sight of customer needs. 
  • Alongside the ability to work independently, you will bring a high degree of flexibility to the job.
  • Ideally, you will have already gained experience in the field of project management, especially in requirement management. 
  • Finally, a good command of German and English (also at a negotiating level) is essential.
