The two megapixel model in the Basler IP camera family, the BIP-1600c-dn, now also features true day/night functionality. With the addition of the BIP-1600c-dn, Basler has closed a gap in their portfolio. The day/night functionality, with its automatically retractable infrared (IR) cut filter, now applies to all Basler IP camera models.

Basler IP cameras have received the German "BG certificate" that is necessary for using the cameras in banks or casinos. The certification confirms that high standards, in terms of electromagnetic compliance (EMC) and imaging quality, have been achieved.

Advance Network Video is already experienced in the IP camera sector, so they will be able to successfully support the Basler IP camera family, which has resolutions from VGA to 2 megapixels.
