Basler launched the new sprint camera series at the Vision show in Stuttgart (November 7-9, 2006). After seeing a live demonstration, visitors to our booth were impressed both by the camera’s speed and by its performance. The demonstration camera was a model with 4096 pixel resolution running at a line rate of 70 kHz.

Basler-VC ended 2006 with a substantial increase in turnover and earnings. We are proud to announce that turnover rose by 46% to 23.29 million euros (2005: 15.9 million euros). Only ten years after its inception, the Vision Components division...

Modern, high-performance seed is expected to be highly effective, with as few seeds as possible failing to germinate and with a very high level of purity. After the seed drying process is complete and the drying box is emptied, a few seeds may remain stuck to the inside of the box. If the box is used for a different species during the next drying cycle, these remaining seeds will decrease the level of purity. Inspection with a vision system ensures that even the smallest amount of remaining seed is detected.

We are pleased to introduce LinX (www.linx.jp/) as our new sales representative for the eXcite camera line in Japan. Basler will provide their eXcite intelligent camera series to LinX for resale. Under the terms of the agreement, LinX will sell Basler’s eXcite cameras in Japan, as well as provide training and support for the products.

On January 1, 2007, Marisabel Fiedler-Freytag started her new role in VC as a sales assistant. She will be responsible for our territories in Asia and Scandinavia. Marisabel has been with Basler since November 2004. She moved from her previous position in Parts & Repair to join VC. Marisabel finished her BA in Environmental Studies in Florida, U.S.A.
