Basler is adding two new camera models to its aviator area scan camera series. This series is based on Kodak’s latest KAI-2050 and KAI-2150 CCD sensors and deliver up to 67 frames per second.

An increase in sales has made it possible for Basler to lower the production costs on some of our pilot GigE camera models. We are passing on this advantage to our customers by reducing the price of our three most successful pilot models by 15 to 20 percent.

One of our customers developed a system to test several types of car headlamps. The challenge was to build a stand-alone production and test machine for the automatic adjustment of car headlamps in order to achieve specific color rendition on the upper edge of the light cone. Read more!

In the beginning of November, the new ace GigE camera series had its world premiere at the VISION show in Stuttgart - definitely a highlight for Basler and for our visitors. Our other cameras also drew quite some attention, especially the new aviator two megapixel models.
