Employee Change
Our Vision Components team has had some changes in its personnel structure. Our additions in sales and support enable us to offer continuously excellent pre and post support and cope with the growing demand of digital cameras in our target markets. We hired four new employees in sales for our European and US customers as well as an addition in the Asian support team.
Daniela Carbuhn is our new sales assistant. She just finished her commercial apprenticeship with a company trading in electronic equipment and has a strong customer orientation. We are happy to welcome Daniela to our team.
Frank Webb joined the VC team in February. Frank has over 15 years of sales experience and will be responsible for VC sales in Eastern Canada and the Southeastern US. His most recent experience was with a manufacturer of precision thermal imaging hardware and software for the printing industry. Frank holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Erik Knight joined the VC team in November 2005 and will be responsible for inside sales in North America. He has a marketing degree and two years of inside sales experience with a manufacturer's representative firm handling process equipment and instrumentation. Erik's knowledge and experience will let him provide the highest level of support to our US customers and the US sales team.
Derek Chan has started his career as an applications engineer in our Singapore office. Derek holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering. In his previous position, he was a software engineer managing security related projects. Derek will provide application and technical support to our Asian customers.
Christoph Noth took on a new role as a sales manager for Eastern Europe and some parts of Eastern Germany. Christoph moved from his previous position as a product manager to join the sales team. With his experience in the machine vision industry, Christoph will make a valuable contribution to our sales efforts.
