Basler pylon’s GigE Vision filter driver, GigE Vision performance driver, and IEEE 1394 driver are running smoothly with the new Windows 7 operating system

Microsoft has been offering a first look at the next generation of their new "Windows 7" operating system to interested development partners and users. The screen shot shows Basler pylon running on a Windows 7 beta version in a 64 bit system. The pylon GigE Vision filter driver, GigE Vision performance driver, and IEEE 1394 driver all work without any problems. This once again demonstrates that pylon’s architecture and software design is future oriented and that your pylon driver integration is secure for new Windows generations.

A release of pylon that has passed the Windows certification process will be made available after the official release of Windows 7, which is expected at the end of this year.
