Basler Exhibited at ‘The Sensing via Image Information’ Tradeshow in Yokohama, Japan
The tradeshow ‘Sensing via Image Information’ (SSII08) in Yokohama attracted more than 27,000 visitors who were interested in image processing technology, targeting various industries such as machine vision, biotechnology and medical science, intelligent transport systems (ITS), security, education and many more.

Basler Vision Technologies presented its brand-new 8k monochrome and 4k color components of the
Basler sprint line scan camera series, the spL8192-70k and spL4096-70kc. The live display of both sprint cameras was the main attraction for visitors and clearly demonstrated the impressive speed and outstanding image quality of both cameras. The sprint´s unique sensor architecture enables this performance. It lets the camera achieve adequate exposure even with extremely short integration times at very high speeds.

The new Basler A406k area scan camera had its first appearance and first “live” showcase at the tradeshow. This camera offers an impressive 209 frames per second at four megapixel resolution. The camera was shown capturing some mechanical moving images with the Linx Ginga digital-CL4e-F-EX4 frame grabber.

At this exhibition we had the chance to discover the latest trends in the image processing technology industry. We had a very successful trade show and are already looking forward to seeing you again in Yokohama in December 2008 at the ‘International Technical Exhibition on Image Technology and Equipment’!
