In August 2007, Basler Vision Components opened an office in Seoul, Korea.

With this local sales representation, we will enhance our business activities to better serve our Korean customers and prospects.

DATVISION Co. Ltd. will remain as our distributor and will continue to service established business in Korea. Together with DATVISION, our enhanced presence will build customer confidence in the high quality and cost effectiveness of our products and brand.

Basler's new key account manager, Mr. Insoo Kim (see picture), will head the Seoul office. Mr. Kim has more than 10 years of sales experience in various industries including machine vision. We are sure that with Mr. Kim’s many years of experience, we can provide a more rapid response to the needs of our customers. We believe that Basler customers will benefit greatly from a local presence in Korea.
